ok i have a 96 cobra (just got it) and one of the turn signals has a clear bulb in it i want to change it to yellow. How do you get the bulb out? The back of it is in the wheel well. and if you have pictures that would make my life so much easier right now! Thanks.

It's a little different from my 91' notch

Pop the hood, look down at the headlight. To the right you will see a single nut that holds on the corner lamp. Remove the nut, the corner lamp assy will just slide out. I find it easiest to use a 1/4in. ratchet with a small extension to remove the nut but some wrenches work fine. Remove the plug going into the bulb (pry out lightly on the little tabs to release, they break easily, or at least mine did .. It'll still work if you break em though .. FWIW).

Then turn the bulb and remove it from the assy. Install new bulb and use reverse instructions to install.

thanks, i tried that before i posted this and the light would not slide out. I was going to get a screwdriver and try to pry it out but i thought maybe there were more screws/nuts holding in from the back.

so it's just the one screw that holds the assembly in there?

thanks again

It's only the one bolt/nut, yep. But there are 3 (if I remember correctly) little plastic dowels(?) that have to slide into place. When you take the nut off, try pushing on the bolt sticking out. If that won't budge it, then take a screwdriver and put a cloth over it (something soft) and pry each edge of it lightly .. It's probably because its cold that is making it stick.

got it guys thanks i took the intimater to it. aka hammer to the one bolt and it popped right out.

i just wanted to make sure before i took the hammer to it that there was no hidden bolts in the back - that would have sucked to hit it then.

one more question where is the cheapest place to get smoke headlights? all of them including fogs.
