How do you resolve tire rubbing in the front?

I did a 5 lug conversion on my 86 Mustang. I put 245/45/17 all the way around and I have tire rub on the fenderwell. The tires rub when I turn the wheel to the right. The driver side tire rubs on the front of the tire towards the outside of the fenderwell, towards the lug nut side of the wheel. The passenger side tire rubs completely opposite. It rubs on the inside of the tire, a few inches from the swaybar.

I was thinking I could take a dremel and file some of the inner fenderwell down a bit so I do not get rub. What have you guys done to make it so your tires do not rub? I have no problems with having to roll the fenders.

Has anyone taken their inner fenderwell off and then made changes to it, or have you left it on the car and worked with it?

I dremeled some of the inner fender on the front wheels...
No more rub anymore :spot:

:EDIT: Make sure you wear googles and a face mask.... that plastic puts out a terrible smoke & spiderweb like strands that go flying

To be honest...

I put chalk on my wheel, then I put it lock to lock in my driveway. Moving the wheels rubbed the chalk where it was hitting creating a patch that I would cut.

I then pretty much cut on the line. I took several test drives and adjusted where needed.
