What kind of 1/4 mile numbers would a stock 97 cobra convert. run on stock sized street tires?

Thanks,

I've seen 13.9-14.2 personally.

My buddy ran a 14.1 stock, then brought it to a 13.2 with pulleys, timing adjuster, 3.73s,cai, exhaust and drags.

Do you know what the 60' time was with those drags and 13.2? IOW - what would it run with street tires and those other mods? 13.7-13.8?

my car (98 cobra engine) w/ 4.30's, K&N, longtubes and o/r X put down 292rwhp on a dynojet, i think the previous owner did 12.80 on nittos

stock 97 cobra will run 13.99, and they REALLY need gears, NO less than 4.10

Being a vert and on street tires i would say low 14s most likely, but if he can get it out of the hole and drives it hard i could see a 13.99

Actually his 60' wasn't all that good for having nittos. It was a 2.0, he never managed to get it lower, sloppy driver I guess. Someone who knows how to drive can easily pull that with street tires.
