Looking at the KDW2's. I've heard anywhere from they aren't that much louder than other tires to the fact that they can be heard over exhaust, stereo's etc because they are so loud. I was wondering from the people who have them (Epik, etc.) how loud they are in the car? Thanks!

They are loud if u dont listen to music while u drive...they get louder over time as they wear, but if u have a loud exhaust or listen to the radio, u wont notice it....I cant really compare them to anything but my brand new Sumitomos on my 95, but that has an off road H with flows, so I dont really notice road noise in that car...IMO, the handling, grip, wet traction, & the treadwear far outweigh the slight noise they put out.

Also my Machs suspension is so stiff, my car probably has more road noise than others...

On another note, BFG needs to make them in a 315 for both 17" & 18" wheels...

Thanks Epik...everyone raves about the grip (wet and dry) and the wear. Just seem to have issues with the noise. I listen to the radio all the time, my exhaust is pretty quiet, but I don't think I would really care. By this point in time, the car makes enough noises inside that I don't think it would really matter!

Exactly...Once u lower, & put exhaust on a stang, everything is noisy, especially if u have lca's, stiff bushings, coilovers etc...

They are an outstanding tire, and the road noise can't be heard over an exhaust or radio. I would recommend them

+1 for 315's

I love mine, cant really tell how noisy they are (o/r h tends to muffle them ). Now if I could find some in 315's its all gravy
