just wondering, I had a 94 cobra with mach 460 sound system and was wonderin what the watts the amp put out, how it was set up. Thinking about trying to hook up somthing simular in my 91 GT! was it setup with main bass and mids hooked up to amp? I just know the sound was awsome and would like to duplicate it!
thanks
Jack

probably 500 watts or so.. its consisted of tweeters and speakers everywhere to so lol you were gettin alot out the tweeters in sound (atleast i do).. some good 6x9's in the factory rear place and 180 watts in the doors will make it shake.. about 2 400 watt amps would do fine for one or even a 750 or 1000 watt 4 channel would do good.. then a good premier pioneer and your set! or a xploid from sony.. which is my second favorite. I'm going with a kicker amp for my subs though

You know the 460 in mach 460 was what the output of the system was, right? As far as the amps in the system, there are 2 in the rear for each of the paired speakers there, and there's one under the deck in the front of the car. Don't worry about trying to set up a 460 system in a fox, just get some decent 3 ways for the front and rear, run your treble off of them w/o an amp and get a good sub and amp....all assuming you've got a decent deck. Pioneer is my brand of choice
