how many horses do i have? my buddy says 600 i say much less

I read it as 86 5.0, Cobra heads (i assumed he meant gt40)......I don't think he knows what he has

Wait, wait ... y'all are looking at this all wrong. 
What we REALLY need to know is...
1. How many stickers do you have on the car?
2. Of those stickers, what brand names are they?
3. What color is the car?
4. Do you have an aftermarket steering wheel and/or shifter knob?
5. Is your intake set up to receive REALLY cold air?
6. What size rims are you running?
7. How many watts is your stereo?
8. What kind of ground effects do you have?
9. How big is the wing on the back?
10. (Most important!) Do you wear your hat forward, backward, or crooked/sideways?
It's tough to say without seeing pics, but the ONLY way I see you getting over the 600-horse mark is with lots of quality-name stickers (APC, Weapon R, GReddy, etc.), a lime-green paintjob, 20" Cobra R rims, 600+watt stereo, a full body kit, and a '99 Cobra R wing with 4" spacers. Be sure to tilt your seat back as far as possible to help with cornering, which usually necessitates that you turn your hat around to one side (usually the right, otherwise, you'll hit the bill of your cap on the window).
Of course, you could just skip all that and get yourself a Direct Exhaust Injection setup - 600 horses EASILY.
