How many Original 5.0 coupes out there?

thank you. When I bought the car, I was thinking about replacing the 10 holes with the ford 5 star ponies. However, that changed as the 10 holes really grew on me and everybody seems to have the ford pony rims. I wanted to be a little different and keep the rims that she was born with.
Same here mine came with the 10 holes and I put them in storage and got some ponies but every now and then I put the 10 holes back on because you know how it is rims are like shoes you always wanna switch em. Lol

The lure of finding a bone stock fox, for the most part, is not having to put up with the 'it's got a 408 stroker in it' when in reality it's just a run of the mill 5.0 or the hack job someone did to the wiring you can't see or the 'flippers' that will get it running just good enough it make it home not to mention the rust and body damage hidden by bondo.
Just my thoughts.

How about an all original 11k mile '70 Boss 302? Even has the original tires. Incredible

Purchased my 90 back in 2005 from a lady who had no idea what she had nor did she really care she just wanted to sell it. Crystal blue AOD 101k center arm rest delete.

Car is pretty much all original only thing I’ve changed is color matched the black trim other than that silencer, vin tags on all panels etc are all there.

How many folks here have a mostly original Factory 5.0 car? Let’s see em.

I bought my Fox to drive . I've daily driven her for almost 13 years now. Upgraded the needed things( in my opinion), fenderwell cai,longtubes,cattback,3g alt.,electric fan,all alum. Rad.,cobra brakes all around, subframe connecters,upper/lower control arms ,short shifter, h.i.d. Headlights, led brake lights. And for now still rocking the original longblock that has either 188 or 288'000 miles( had 80,990 when bought 7/7/07 car fax was no help).I'll keep daily driving her till one of us dies,or I hit it big and do motor/trans and what not. Still Original to me.....

A good way to tell if a fox is high mileage or not is the carpet(assuming it’s original). My 92 hatch had almost 200k and it showed in the carpet it looked smooth and didn’t have that crispy carpet feel to it anymore.

My 90 has 101k not really low miles but not considered high for the year either the carpet still has that sharpness to it.

Bought mine new in 1988 still mostly stock, Changed mufflers and shifter, regular maintence and now has some 90's era16 inch pony wheels but I still have the Turbines Just over 100k miles on her

Picture from 1988 I have to find a current one to add

I have an 88 5.0 GT Convertible with 62000 KM on it. I think that only the radio is not original.
