i was talking to fastfive0 the other day about MAF and throttle bodies. i think that my 70mm t-body is sufficent, but an 80mm pro-m might give me some more horses.
right now i have the 75mm bullet and i was thinking about swaping it out of r a80mm if i can get one at a decent price.
does anyone think that there would be a good power gain from this or even worth doing? the only mods that i would do to the motor would be having my heads ported and intake matched.

I too would like to know I've still got the stock one, I've got a 75mm Pro-M on it's way though, as well as injectors...

I would think since your MAF is already bigger than your throttle body, going to a bigger MAF will do nothing for you.

Both should be the same size.

I run a Stock TB with a larger MAF which works better then the other way around.

65 TB and a 70 MAF should work great.

Agree, the MAF should be larger but oversizing too much shouldnt do you any good!!

It's not necessarily the size why he should upgrade. If you look at the flow of the 75mm bullet and compare it to the 73 c&l you will see the "smaller" 73 flows better. I beleive this was discussed here previously. Unless someone has some better info then I have. It's been awhile since I have looked at MAF's.

Would running a 65 TB and a 76MM be much beneficial or is that too big?
