How much hp are you guys running in front of your t-5s?

I have the car below in my sig and could either get a rebuild t-5 built to 90-93 factory specs or one rebuilt to ford racing t-5 specs, the 330ft# one. I'm looking to get around 300 to the rear wheels eventually and was wonder what you guys that drag race a couple times of month have done to your t-5s if anything?

I'll be running about 300 rwhp in about a week and I'm still using my stock 85 T-5 rated at 265 ft-lbs...... As far as I have heard, powershifting destroys T-5's. If you don't launch at above 3000 rpm with slicks and don't powershift, then the T-5's should last a little while at least

yes, mav is completely correct, if you are nice to your T-5 (no power shifting) then it will live long, my friend has 300 rwhp with TrickFlowStreet kit and his t-5 is fine and my other friend has a supercharger 347 putting 370 to the wheels and he has the stock t-5.....as well!

My friend broke TWO of mine in my old, tired, bone stock 5.0 within 3 weeks of each other.

Another friend ran mid 10's on his D&D rebuilt T5 for 2 years.
