Got bored and took my motor and trans out. Then took the hood and fender and basically the front clip off. Not liking what im seeing. I'm probably looking at a new radiator support, entirly new inner fender aprons, and new shot gun rails. Is this worth saving?? If so, wheres the best place to get the metal for a decent price? Thanks a bunch as usual fellas! :SNSign:

Does the car have some sort of symbolic meaning to you? If so yes.

I'm replacing my front aprons, front crossmember, radiator support, floor boards, some of the trunk area. I don't think it's too much, because I had the choice of cutting my losses and finding another vehicle and swapping my drivetrain into that car, but I saw it as a hassle and the potentional of having something else wrong with that car, I'd see myself back to ground zero. I'd rather fix it the first time.

I did the sheetmetal under the battery (inner apron, radiator support, fron crossmember, inner and outer passenger side frame extension) a few years ago. It's not that big of a job, just level the car on jackstands before you start and be careful.

Is this for a 73 Grande? Is the damage due to rust or an accident?

If it is a 73Grande the amount of work you are describing is just not worth it. You can buy very good driving examples of that model for $6-8K all day long.

I don't know if the pieces you need are being reproduced. You might have to buy a parts car to get them.
