I have found a used motor with 70.000 miles, the guy wrecked the car and wants to get rid of the motor, It has a 65mm maf,70mm t/b, msd distributor and ignition, 24lbs inj. . If i want the motor i get to go hear it run and then pull it out and he said i can have every lil piece i need related to the engine of the car, and by the way the car was rearended no damage to the front

$500 might be a low ball price, honestly, if he's letting you grab all of the brackets for that cheaply, plus the engine. My Explorer engine was about $500, IIRC, and it was just a longblock. Sold the heads and recouped about half the price, so $250 for a low mileage shortblock was too hard to pass up!

yeah but your missing the fact that he has to spent a few hours to pull the engine himself. Thats worth a couple hundred bucks itself. so i say stick with around 500 bucks
