My local dealer says he can get me a GT in 12 weeks and wants $1000 over msrp. Can I do better? How negotiable is this? I've purchased 3 cars from this dealer in the last 3 years, probably won't make a difference other than to let them know I'm serious.

$1000 over MSRP, he's outta his mind. Tell your dealer to go hug a root.

if he would do it for MSRP, I would take it. $1000 over and I agree with Ruffy.

If it was on the lot for you to drive home tonight and you fell in love you could be forgiven for paying a markup imo (it's YOUR money after all).

But for an order? Just take "safeway" and remove the "f" from "safe" and then remove the "f" from "way", and what do you get???

You bought 3 cars from him in the last 3 years -- and he can't even give you msrp? What a tool. Tell him to go "have sex" with himself, and find yourself a better dealer, that greedy SOB.
