A nice example is a fairly quick car like an 05 Monaro (GTO) with 400bhp manual gearbox takes about 4.5 seconds to go from 30-70mph.
A fast car like a TVR Sagaris will do it under 3.5 seconds.
And a really fast car like a McLaren F1 in about 2.1 seconds
Remeber the variance here is much greater than 0-60mph times, as the speed difference is only 40mph.
Depending on how the engine delivers the power can affect the results, hence one car may be quicker under this circumstance yet still be slower 0-60mph.
Its never a simple answer.
