How to put 10 or10.5 rims on rear of fox

i had an 88 gt with 10" weld wheels on the back. they were on there when I bought it so I don't know the back spacing but it had a small spacer on it and no quads of course. the tire size was a 265 50 15 you can do it with the right back spacing. they didnt stick out and they were wide it looked good. my 91 currently has 17x9s and they definetly aren't as wide

Use the stock fox lenght axles and ditch the quads, thats all it took if i remember correctly.

Awesome thanks!! :hail2:

so no axel swaps or anything like that?

Did you have to roll the fenders at all?

What is the back spacing on your rims and how much room do you have?

there was a yellow turbo notch in the magazines (5.0) and MM&FF last year that was running 10.5's out back last year.....look at the article and see what he did.

I would do itfor you now but i dont have my collection at work

looks like you just have to get smaller tires that are kind of stretched on there..

I had 275's on the back, but on an 8 inch rim and they also fit just fine, but with quads.

seems you can maybe just flip the quads and run the 10.5?

if he had a twin turbo kit, he was running stock track width with the rear end mini tubbed

yea you use stock fox lenght 5 lug axles
no
I forget, but I'll try to get it.

I noticed you had deep dish rims in the back so yours are prob close to the back spacing Im looking at for the rims I want. I think that will be the big factor of if they will fit or not.

Actually, I belive they are 18x12's with a 335/30R18 in the rear. It's a very nice job, it has factory back seats, and is very clean underneath, like the car came that way. It's a show car, that doubles as a race car, although I have never scene it at the track. Suposed to run 8's. Amazing car.

I plan to mini-tub mine someday.
