How to remove rear parking brake cable from 94 GT caliper??????

Does anyone have any shortcuts to remove the rear parking brake cables from the rear calipers on my 1994 GT without having to go through all the work of removing the center console and adjusting for slack in the line at the handle, as my manual recommends?

Im not sure about removing it from the handle, but to take it off the caliper, there is a C-Clip holding it in the caliper, once you pull that off, you can pop the cable off the bracket and pull the cable through the caliper.
