How to remove stains from polish/chrome surface?

My front driver side wheels have this un-smooth surface on some of the area.. I don't know what it is but I can't get it off.. I've used polisher/soap but it didn't help.. it's kinda like lots of grey dots I guess..

And on my accufab plenum and tb.. there appeared to be some kind of stain and is quite different than the one on the wheels. They are not dotted..

what kind of product should I be looking into to remove these stains?

try never dull. if that doesn't work whatever it is probably ate through the clearcoat.

OK...Here is my secret for cleaning chrome like that...Try it, and tell me what you think...You may already have this product at home, it is made for cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.....If not you can buy it at most hardware stores (I bought my last can at Home Depot)...OK, here it is, its called Gel Gloss....Made for porcelain, chrome, stainless (I use it on my exhaust tips too) etc....It even leaves a protective film on the chrome after you buff it off (its the only thing I can find that will clean the plastic chrome wheel covers that came on my F250)....Good luck....

I'll second Nevr-Dull. You can get it from most parts stores or WalMart, comes in a silver can. That stuff can work some miracles. When I bought my old 300ZX used the exhaust tips were totally black from years of never being properly cleaned. No amount of typical cleaners or scrubbing cleaned them up. Then I tried the Nevr-Dull and it cleaned them up to like new condition with relative ease.

Nevr-dull works great have used it many times over the years....I just like the protective film left by the gel gloss (beads water)....Good luck, with whatever you try....

Try Mother's Mag Aluminum and Chrome polish. I use it on my rims and exhaust tips. The stuff works awesome. I used it to polish the tunnel on my snowmobile and it made it look better than when it was new.
