How wide of a tire can I go in the rear of an 03' GT and still keep quad shocks

When I purchased my car it came with 18x9 chrome cobra rims on it, however I took it back to the dealer and they swapped them for stock bullit rims/tires because the chrome cobra's were chipping and leaking air at a ridiculous rate.

So I have found a local guy that is selling his FR500 wheels/tires that I would like to pick up, however they have 315's Nitto's on the rear, they are 17" x 10.5" rims.

Will those fit on my car without any modifications to the wheel well and not rub my quads?

I would just take the quads off, but I just replaced the stock ones with billsteins when I replaced my shocks/struts.

Your advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

as said that is a very common wheel size put on our cars and you will have no problems. I wouldn't take the quad shocks off unless you know what you are doing and have other methods of stopping wheel hop.
