IM just saying... WITH ONLY THE HEADS NO OTHER MODS 200rwhp is a good estimate. You guys think this thing is going to breath with a stock intake, air box, 4 cats and headers your couldn't suck a milkshake through.

The 95' Cobra, with the GT-40 heads, has a bigger intake, throttle body, and cam then the HO motor, and it has 245hp at the crank. Logic alone is going to tell you that putting those heads on a stock HO motor is not going to yield 270rwhp. When people are talking about putting down 270rwhp, they are talking about doing it with late model Explorer GT-40p heads. Probably heads that have been worked over quite a bit.
Not necessarily Kurt. It's possible to get 260-270rwhp with unported GT40 heads but you'd also need the GT40 intake, 1.7 RR's, CAI, MAF, 65mm TB, pulleys, and headers-back exhaust. There are GT40P combos putting down around 280 and if those heads are ported, 300rwhp is possible.
My old teal stang put down 224RWHP 298lb torque pretty much stock.
I'm saying it can't be done with a stock cam.

Not doubting the numbers.....I'd just like to know what "pretty much stock" means. Adding 30-35rwhp isn't exactly something that's accomplished with a K&N filter and an O/R H-pipe.

That's what I had on my 93' when I got 224rwhp. Except I didn't have cats. Dynoed it a few miles up the road at Outlaw Performance.
