how much horse power percent do you loose in the drivetrain in a 91 fox with an aod

Manual is usually 15% for DT loss
AOD is somewhere around 20 - 25% depending on the condition of the trans.

Here's something to think about, my buddy swapped the aod in the 160k mile fox lx 5.0 w/ a t-5 and picked up a full second in the quarter mile w/ a bone stock motor...

thats with the rear end and all.

He's running his stock 2.73's in the rear, the only modifications in the whole car were the t-5 swap and subframe connectors when the picked up the full second
