$10/here

I don't go see many movies in the theater as you can imagine. $20/movie + popcorn and food = 1 expensive movie

Went to see it yesterday. I have to say that it was worth the $4.75 (saw it early Sunday), but would be dissappoint if I had paid more. They needed to spend a bit more time developing the story of how to virus spread and mutated. But the Shelby sequence and guns made it worth the price I paid.

I enjoyed the movie, from the crowds reaction the scariest part was the Mobil 1 gas pumping scene, 6.87 a gallon, the whole theater broke out in whispers. Did you see that? OMG look how much gas is and so on haha.

Wow.. Probably the second time I will every partially agree with you. I have to say the GT500 was amazing, but they left way too much of the story out. Ending was worthless...

Saw it the other night and loved it. I'm not the type that needs a lot of action, or flashes and bangs to keep my attention. The story line was well thought out (even if it was a remake) and Will Smith pulled it off to a tee. One of his better films IMO....and I like most of his stuff.

BTW....was I the only one who noticed the Batman/Superman bill board early on in the movie when he was out hunting Deer. I heard talk that they were supposed to be making it, I guess that's the studio's subtle way of confirming as much.

Yep. The ending makes the movie but not in this case. Was stupid...

Just got done watching it a few times. Seemed really short for some reason.

I guess it was OK. Didn't like the ending though, he could have threw the grenade right before ducking into the metal door.

The GT500 scene is AWESOME though! It too could have been a little longer IMO.

Just what happens when you adapt a book into a movie. A lot of material gets left out.

The only book-movie transition i feel that remains pretty much dead on was "Band of Brothers". Reason being is they didn't adapt it into a single 2-hour movie...but a long mini-series instead, so they could hit on every scene.

Same goes for the Lord of the Rings. Buy the extended lenght DVD's and watch all 3 at once and now you have a 10-hour movie which covers every detail shown in the book.

I am Legend could easily been a 5-8 hour movie.

I would never expect a movie to include all the information that text can.

Good as a movie, and good as a book
