I Am Legend.

Went to see it yesterday. I have to say that it was worth the $4.75 (saw it early Sunday), but would be dissappoint if I had paid more. They needed to spend a bit more time developing the story of how to virus spread and mutated. But the Shelby sequence and guns made it worth the price I paid.

I enjoyed the movie, from the crowds reaction the scariest part was the Mobil 1 gas pumping scene, 6.87 a gallon, the whole theater broke out in whispers. Did you see that? OMG look how much gas is and so on haha.

LoL, same here... The movie was sold out so it was packed! Everyone did the same! Also at the end everyone was like awwww at the end... no one liked how it ended

 Same here! Everyone gasped, I was thinkin that it shoudlnt be too long.... gotta love opec and taxes:notnice:

Edit: I forgot to say the pic of your car in the avatar is astonishingly beautiful:nice:

Saw it the other night and loved it. I'm not the type that needs a lot of action, or flashes and bangs to keep my attention. The story line was well thought out (even if it was a remake) and Will Smith pulled it off to a tee. One of his better films IMO....and I like most of his stuff.

BTW....was I the only one who noticed the Batman/Superman bill board early on in the movie when he was out hunting Deer. I heard talk that they were supposed to be making it, I guess that's the studio's subtle way of confirming as much. :nice:

We went and watched it on IMAX... That Shelby sounded awesome with the sound system in the IMAX theater!!!

Just got done watching it a few times. Seemed really short for some reason.

I guess it was OK. Didn't like the ending though, he could have threw the grenade right before ducking into the metal door.

The GT500 scene is AWESOME though! It too could have been a little longer IMO.

Just what happens when you adapt a book into a movie. A lot of material gets left out.

The only book-movie transition i feel that remains pretty much dead on was "Band of Brothers". Reason being is they didn't adapt it into a single 2-hour movie...but a long mini-series instead, so they could hit on every scene.

Same goes for the Lord of the Rings. Buy the extended lenght DVD's and watch all 3 at once and now you have a 10-hour movie which covers every detail shown in the book.

I am Legend could easily been a 5-8 hour movie.
