So I need to know where the wires run. Im assuming the door speakers just go up under the dash and run throught the "hose" that is on the door and to the speaker from there. But where do the ones for the back run? And Im guessing ill need to take some rear panels off, so how do they come out?

And if anyone knows where I can find a wiring diagram for a Pioneer DEH-6500 that would help too. I lost my manual so I dont know which wires are for which speakers. Thanks

Would the speaker wire colors for the 460 and the regualr system with just the front amp be the same? Im thinking about just splicing into the existing wires.

no prob.. as for the doors, i haven't done it in awhile. I don't remember it being to hard thou. good luck!

Do the rear speakers just both run on one side of the car? Cause thats how Im gonna do it. That way I dont have to take both panels off.

So does anyone know how to take the panels off? I know how to take the door panels off no problem, but the rear ones, Ive never messed with.

well the rears are cake.. just unbolt the black "box" in the trunk. the speakers are mounted to that and the amps are right there on each side. As for the door are u talking about the actually door or the panel at the bottom around the door frame?

Im rerunning the wires, not just changing the speakers. So I need to know where the wires physically go so I can pull out the panels I need to, and run new wires. I know Ill have to take the door panel off, the door jams will have to come off Im sure, but beyond that, I dont know what else will have to come off.

We ran all the apeaker wires in my car man it's no big deal at all none of the back panels have to come off except for the ones in the trunk which are no trouble at all run your wire from the speaker to the passenger side of the trunk then into the panel from there tuck it into your back seat and come out down where your kick panels are just pop those off and run your wire under them to the rubber gromet where the passenger door hinges are and then come out under your dash then head for your radio i know it sounds confusing if you need it i'll take some photos and put them on here you should'nt have to remove any panels except for the trunk just tuck the wire in around the seat

Run the rear speaker wires up the a-pillars and across the roof over the doors. That's what I did and it uses about the same amount of wire.

To get the rear sail panels off, you need to remove the back seat, then the pad thingy directly over the seat, then the rear dash cover, then the plastic hanger hooks, THEN the rear sail panels. . . so basically the entire rear end.

an easy way to get wires into the door is, use the old wire tie to new wire and pull.

Yep! Also, it helps to solder the new to the old to make sure it doesn't come loose as you pull it through as it gets jammed up pretty bad in the boot. Then cut it off when you're done.

I would run them under the dash through the lower kick panels. Than remove the door sills so you can acces the carpet. Put the wires under the carpet and feed them behind the rear sill panels which will take you to the trunk.
