Installing a KB on a PI swapped GT? I hope you've replaced your pistons with lower compression ones. If your c/r is about 10.5:1 then the KB will blow up your engine.

Am I noticing a trend of non locals getting the crappy treatment from KB. Everyone in their 50 mile radius usually get excellentservice, and custom application(like my 2.2 or 2.4 l I plan on having a local shop install(which they have already done on 1 other 98) support, but they never do custom stuff correctly for customers, just tuners. Somtimes you wonder if these old companies have hired all engineers and noone with a business or economics degree
Curious Tweeked....why didn't you just buy the '96-'98 kit and have the lower manifold port matched to the PI heads? That's what I did with my Allen.

that's actually what i did order. I ordered a 96-98 Non-intercooled kit with intentions to buy the intercooler by spring. They sent a 99-04 Intercooled kit to The Mustang Shop (which is who I bought the kit from) by mistake. I asked if it would fit my car and they said yes, no problems, that was what KB told them. I would just have to get the second ECT sensor tapped. I finally got a copy of the 96-98 install guide and it showed all these different things. That's how i got to where I am today. I'm pissed but i'm not stressed yet. I know this can work, it's just a matter of getting KB to get me the stuff i need.
