A 1988 Bayliner Capri that is. I've been on the local lake with my buddies this summer on their boats so I got the itch and found this beaut. She needs a battery and a starter solenoid and some interior work but it will get me out on the water. I think I got a pretty good deal. I picked it up for 400 bucks. I had to jump on it. I'm gonna have some fun with it for a while and fix it up nice and then try to turn it over for a nice profit and get something nicer. I just figured I'd post it up on here to show you guys. Any other boaters out there? Nothin better than anchoring up with a bunch of boats and hangin out on the lake on the weekends.

Sucks the gauges are downright hideous. Maybe i can go back in time with this thing. lol

wow thats awesome, I dont know boat prices but 400 bucks seems like nothing for that. Not into boats but I sure as hell would be if I lived on a lake or had one.

Yea they are ridiculous, everyone who sees them either says they feel like they are playing a video game or some kind of one liner from back to the future.

I never thought I would have a boat but I found this one and had to have it. I've seen them in nice shape go from 2000-5000.

it looks like rocket launcher controls on the dash lower right but for the money its a steal.
you know what they say, the best two days of a boat owners life are the day he buys it and the day he sells it...my boss said that when he sold his POS pontoon only to turn around and buy a new one

GTO, I found it in Roxbury on Emmans road. I will be bringin it out on Lake Hopatcong and anchoring up in Byram Cove alot. For now my buddy is gonna tow it for me but I plan on buying my bosses old 2 wheel drive 302 5 speed F150 for a winter beater and I'll use that to tow the boat next summer. I'm dying to get this thing running and out on the lake. Boats are the ****!

Oh yea, I'm naming it Prestige Worldwide too. lol

Good luck with it....as the former owner of a couple powerboats I can only say that you think you dump money into a car? The moments you get to use it are fun though.

That sounds like a good deal on the Bayliner. I have a friend with a 80-something 4 Wynns and a 2.3 Merc Cruiser I/O. It's a similar looking boat and is great for hanging out in. However, it's a little slow for skiing behind. I'm a water guy too, but I'm into the PWC's. Here's a pic of my Yamahas. One is a 2000 GPR 1200 and the other is a 1998 XL 1200. GPR has a few mods and will do 68 mph. XL is almost stock and does right around 60 mph.
