If you do happen to make your own kit, alot of ppl. will tell you to buy a Progressive Controller so you can set the turn-on point and pressure, and you can ramp the pressure up with your boost. You wouldn't NEED it but it helps with tuning.
 
Alky/water injection can be a big help at reducing intake air/combustion temps in a boosted applications, especially in non-intercooled applications. And I've seen some applications in VERY high compression naturally aspirated applications. But for most of the milder street stuff (10.5:1 or less) it probably won't make much difference. You gain about 1/2%-1% HP for each 10F reduction in intake air temp. But unless you can control mixture, you may lose with a rich mixture what you gain in temp. reduction.

Exactly Michael which is why i would advise going with a controller of some sort for his application or just buy a ready made kit. On my GTP it's alittle different, atleast i think it is since it is a roots blower an not a centrifugal blower. To me it doesn't make since to buy a controller on a roots style i mean the alky/water mixture isn't going directly into the intake, it's hitting the rotors on the blower first so i just buy a smaller nozzle if need be an get it tuned till it reads 0KR. But i'm rambling so i'll shut up lol.
