I just got my 295/35/18's from fedex, HOLY GOD

That's pretty risky, I wouldnt put a 295 tire on anything short of 10" wide. It would look weird on a 9" rim, if they can even fit it on, and I think it would pose some safety hazard issues as well.

BullittPlaya, sorry if I offended you by getting a great deal on some tires. I could put them on but I think I'll probably just make a couple hundred dollars profit on them. I'm sure you don't understand that though. Jackass.

Roush have 295s on 9s. I think itll work. My 275s are flush with the wheel once they were mounted but looked big before. I plan on 295s next. You also have a little more sidewall which helps. I think itll be fine.

what brand of tires are those? I run a 285x35x18 on my 18x9 in rims and they look good, cant be that big of a difference between 285 and 295 right?

Got any pics? Compared to your set-up, we are only talking about an extra 5mm of tire on either side of the rim, and you get a little more sidewall which helps. I still think theyll fit, and look good.

People put 275s on 17x8s and they look great, this isnt quite that dramatic but there is less sidewall...

Have you measured the inner lip width of the 295s compared to the rim?
