I bought my 99 GT last August w/ 75k miles on it and a worn out pinion bearing for a fair price. At the time I opted to refresh the whole rear-end including the axles. I replaced all the brakes, bearings and seals and threw in some new front wheel hubs for ****s and giggles figuring if the pinion was trashed at 75K, who knows what the previous owner did to everything else...
After a few runs at the track last fall, I was satisified that my repair work wouldn't self destruct. However, it didn't compare to my 89 GT w/ the 4.10's. I hemmed and hawed all winter and finally decided the hell with it, I missed the 4.10's !!
My 89 came with the 4.10's when I bought it, so I didn't have the pleasure of installing them myself. I was wondering if anyone has run into any difficulties installing the 4.10's in the 99 GT?
