I know, I know... another "Clutch Noise" thread.

When I press the clutch in it pops near the bottom I think twice... It's all factory original stuff but the car has only 63k on it. Also, it seems I'm getting somewhat of a slip in the clutch as well... like getting on it from low rpm in 2nd. ideas

PS: I went ahead and bought a Steeda Quadrant and a Ford Racing adj cable just in case.

could be a broken or bad finger(s) (see picture below the fingers are in the center) on the pressure plate...

If the slipping cropped up at the same time, I like the diaphram fingers idea. It's not real common though.

If the point of engagement starts getting lower and lower on the clutch pedal travel spectrum, the cable idea is a good one. A cable that's going wont cause slipping (but rather causes engagement issues).

Good luck.

You need to find the location of the noise. Have one person step on the pedal while another listens. See if it's comming from the trans bell housing, or from the passenger compartment.
