I know, I know.... Another "Waddya think it'll Make" Thread...

Since I lunched the 308 I built last year (Destroyed No.3 Piston, rod, cylinder...not many Pcs. left),

I am building another 302. Here are the specs.

1994 Shortblock, 80k miles, stock bore
1996 Explorer GT40's (not P's), gasket matched, on both the intake and exhaust

Ford Racing Springs, good to .550 lift
Cobra 1.7's
Stock cam (or an E-cam, what one should I use?)
Ford Racing 1 5/8" shorties Off road H with 2.5" Flows w/ tails
Explorer Upper
98+ explorer Lower
65mm TB
70mm MAF
19's
A9L ECU
Under Drives
Procomp Dizzy, MSD 6A, MSD TFI Coil

Any Ideas? It is just a street car and I am not trying to set any horse power records.
Thanks in advance!!

Charlie

the e-cam with 1.7's is only .529 lift. I had the same parts on my ported E7 headed engine and i had no issues. I was thinking keeping the stock cam just because I have heard many good things about leaving it there and adding rockers. Since i am looking for driveability more then anything else, I thought the stock cam would give me that. I might throw a b-cam in there to make it sound mean, but that would be it.

Thanks again!

B cam is one of my favorite sounding cams for some reason!
