I seriously love driving this car. I've seen people complain "it doesn't feel the same" since they added IRS. Well I think the change was long needed. It drives like a proper sport car now, and when you get in it feels nostalgic. Its like bringing the 60s dash into the future. I feel like some kind of action movie hero when I drive it. I see myself walking through the garage in slow motion as a camera pans from left to right. The garage door opens in slow motion too. When I grip the door handle the car illuminates as to tell me you've just awakened the beast. Sit down, press the go button, it whistles and roars.

The experience on the road is like no other. So many people don't understand the sound. Guys in Diesel trucks envy the whistle, seriously its LOUD. It's for sure a head turner.

I'm with ya man! Best decision I've made car wise in a long time haha. I'm fortunate enough that my commute is nothing but country backroads for 30miles (though I wish they were curvier). About 25 of those miles it's like 1 red light and 2 stop signs hah.

I just love the way this engine revs....after having plenty of inline-4 liter bikes, I just love how it winds out. Hopefully this dude comes down and buys the Kawasaki over the weekend so I can get those Corsa Sports on and let her sing!

We love our 2015 GT! My wife and I often switch so we can take turns driving- it's a lot of fun, and makes a long drive bearable. Absolutely nothing I would change. Seems like a very durable car that will last us for years.

Disclaimer: Margarita induced "deep" thought lol

Obviously, ford did a lot of great things with the car. Honestly, I think the best thing was bring back that fastback similarity. My first ride was a 68 coupe, that I dearly loved...but had always longed for that fastback that even back in the mid 90s was waaaaaaay out of my teenager budget.

But it's been great to get back behind the wheel of a mustang. Back when I was 16 I didn't give two s about cars or even driving for that matter. My folks kept bringing it up that it was about time for me to start driving and obviously, to purchase the car was my responsibility (which to this day I'm glad they did). It wasn't till I randomly picked up an autotrader magazine one day that the addiction began. They were all sorted by brand and went from early to late models. At that time the SN95 stangs were still pretty fresh, but there was no way I was affording one of those...so you just kept flipping backwards throughout the years as things usually got cheaper. That's when I first saw the original mustangs, and man did it hit home. At that time, you could get a 289/302 coupe for 3-5k that was in great shape...compared to what you could get now for that coin.

That's what pretty much started it all for me. You watch the documentaries and about people flocking to that first mustang design all across the country. It's funny that damn near 30 years later....it did the same for a kid that didn't have any interest at all in cars. The ass-end design of the s550 is absolute perfection for me, and I feel like that was always the weakest point of design in the previous models. They definitely nailed the front end with the previous model or two....and I wasn't too fond of the s550 front end to begin with. However, in person, it's awesome...the ass has that old school look of what I always wanted and the front end matches the character of what's under the hood.

In the end, I'm excited today as I was 19 years ago about driving.

Thank the good lord. I was thinking how someone could love driving a 4 cylinder eco-boost Mustang. Now if they dropped the V-6 twin turbo like the F-150 . . .

Seriously? It has 310 hp. That's how someone could love driving a 4 cylinder eco-boost Mustang. You get somebody that just came from driving a 130 hp Sentra, Civic or Corolla and it is quite a jump. It has more hp than most V8 Mustangs pre-2009. Plus it has a lot of nice standard equipment even on the base.

Apparently you can't read but, no, I don't drive an ecoboost. I do know that it is a good motor and some people feel the need to put it down because maybe they're insecure about the sizes of certain things.

So let me get this straight. I have a small Johnson because I drive a 5.0 Mustang, but you don't? I actually drove one of those pre-2009 Mustangs you spoke of, so I get your point. You might want to get a sense of humor or a thicker skin. It's the internet dude. Get over yourself.

No. I just don't feel the need to put down the ecoboost because I have a 5.0. That is the difference. I do have to say, I do love driving this Coyote. You can't beat the sound of a v8.

I don't see how any of you could enjoy driving a sub 400 rwhp 5.0 mustang. LOL
The six banger or the turbo 4 are not for me. I know they have their place but I think the level of fun dramatically increases with the 5.0. The NON GT models definitely got a nice increase in HP but the really had to considering the weight of the newer vehicles and the fact that anything beyond a Civic, or Sentra is probably just as fast as the NON GT cars. I'd be willing to bet my Maxima would give an ecoboost or V6 a run for its money.
