I lost my MC on my 88 Mustang. I have the 73MM calipers up front. I plan on converting to the MarkVII rear disc over the winter. So I decieded to get the SVO MC. Now my question is about the lines that run from my MC to the PV. Will I have to bend and cut my own lines or do they make them pre-made. Cause I'm assuming I'm going to need Standard threads on one side and Metric threads on the other so I can fit them in my stock PV and new SVO master cylinder. I'd be cool if a company made these lines just for my application. If you have any idea's about what you would recommend I do that would be awesome. I've never bent or cut brake lines before.

Should I get an adjustable PV? Would it be needed while I still use the rear drums for now? And will I defientely need one after I do the rear disc's? I'm trying to get this done cheaply but I also want to be safe.

Thanks for your time. Ryan

To cut and bend your own brake lines, you need a tubing cutter, a DOUBLE flaring tool and a cheap tubing bender. The bender is optional because you can just bend them by hand, but the bender makes it so much nicer. Any autoparts store sells the line in various lengths and have adaptors to make anything fit anything. My favorite place for adaptors is NAPA. Those old guys in there are never too busy to find just the right piece.
