Okay,

As of right now i have Cooper Lifeline tires on my car and they cost me around 600 or 800 when i got them about 2 yrs ago. Now i guess i need new ones and i would like to get tires that are capable of year round driving. That includes the occasional snow drive. Do you guys have any suggestions? I am trying to save money so if you guys know of any tires that can do the job without touching my previous price that would be awesome.

Also that price was with my mechanic installing the tires too.

Thanks

I just bought a set of these. So far so good. Good price.

i really liked my Kuhmo ASX tires. all season, great for dry, wet, and im sure snow, although i dont have that problem. they arent the stickiest tires though. dont plan on any real performance driving after the first 5k miles.

I dunno about the snow, but I sure cut through the h2o with my toyo proxies 4, might want to check them out, they are 100x better than the fuzion zri's that were on the car when I bought it.

I also don't know about the snow yet, but I just put Toyo Proxies 4 on my 02 GT and they have been great so far. It's been raining all week here in MI, and I haven't had any driveability problems.

I drove my 2002 GT in the snow for 2 years on Continental ContiExtreme Contacts. They were surprisingly good in the snow, and more than acceptable during the rest of the year. You can see / buy them on TireRack.

I finally got a winter beater this year though.....

I just got the same ones that Mode101 bought. I've had them for about 1000 miles and like them a lot... I drove them in the snow today and they were great. The price is great and I think you get a good tire for your money. Check tirerack.com for some good reviews on them too.
