BTW...I just took it for a ride. It was dry today, I took two friends with me and I still have the 100 pounds of sand bags in the trunk. It still would not hook in 1st or second, but on the freeway I got to hammer on 3rd and 4th and man does it pull!! I was very impressed. It got past 100MPH too fast though...haha...I didn't even get to enjoy the pull because it got there so fast....hahaha

Yeah, its funny cause its something I never thought i would complaine about but its true. The car accelerates so fast from 50-130 that you dont really have time to enjoy it

I shopped for the seperator for a while. I looked at the cheap ones on ebay and looked at building one and saw the one at LMR. I didnt care for any of them and I have no skills to make a nice bracket so I ordered the one from Steeda. They were the only ones that had it in stock too. Steeda Oil Separator - Ford Mustang

Forgot, if it gets warm where you are at then you NEED the head cooling mod if you are planning on driving her hard. You are not supposed to do WOT runs in 5th or 6th without the head coolong mod. Evenflo just came out with one that dosent require you to drop the transmition to install. It adds a new cooling hose to the back of the drivers side head where there isnt any flow from the factory so it causes hot spots. The tolerences on the Termi block are so tight that the piston expands enough to sieze the engine unless there is better cooling for cylinders 7 & 8. Just gota remove the blower and there is a fitting that gets installed. No cutting (besides the rad hose) or drilling

The differental is super easy to remove on these cars if you have a lift but you dont need to for replacing thoes bushings. You do need to remove thoes bushings to move the diff back enough to install the IRS brace so thats a good time to swap them. Four bolts is all it takes to mave the pumpkin back to install both parts. The two that also hold the derlin bushings and the two on the end of the diff cover where the IRS brace reinforces it. When you get under the car and see how the cover is braced you can see where it would crack at. Its just not thick enough.

eBay has the IRS brace in the same red as you car for $179 but I just bought the Steeda one cause a dude in Ennis had it for $125

The head thing is a myth. People say if it has blue paint on it then its the better heads. I fell for it 03/04 heads are IDENTICAL but there may have been a different seal for the valve guides that stands up to a higher heat. U.M. had his heads replaced two or three times and it still came back. He did the head cooling mod and never had an issue. If its warm out though you could just not pull 5th or 6th and save the $120 I dont have that mod yet but will buy it in spring.

Things I learned that are a MUST for these cars in the countless hours of research I have done are : Head cooling, IRS brace, oil PCV filter and derlin bushings. That covers most of Fords weak spots in the car.

I dont have the sub frame or controll arm bushings eaither. Them, the cooling mod and a twin screw are the only mods left to do on my car and I would like to have things to look foreward to do to the car.... if that makes any sense
