I think I am going to rebuild a new T5 for her

Ok well I think I may have finally found a t5 for a decent price that just needs a rebuild. I am going to do it myself of course, should be fun. The T5 is out of a Fox though so I know the input shafts are different lengths but since I am going to rip it apart anyway I figure I will just put in a 94-95 T5 input shaft and then I should be able to just bolt the T5 up right? I will let you know tomorrow if I manage to strike a deal for the T5 but first I need to know if I can just swap the input shaft for the 94-95 T5 so that no other mods are necessary (i know kind or repetetive).

The input shaft and TO bearing retainer both are 94-95 specific.

You can get away with swapping those from your current T5 since the gear on the input shaft is the fourth gear and a 1:1 ratio like all T5s.
