I bought a complete PI motor today with 39K miles on out of an 04 gt for 1k
i dunno about you guys, but this is a dam steal. and its super clean, only problem was a "slightly" cracked valve cover. So project 98 GT motor swap. is underway. Starting Sunday afternoon, im picking up the motor on friday, i couldn't bring it back with me today, no room. lol, funny thing about this, i went to the junk yard to buy a transmission for a maxima, then found the motor and had to buy it, theres nothing wrong with the 98 GT, but mines well right?

So what kind of numbers and times am i lookin at in my 98 GT with all the bolt-ons already on it. im hoping for something around 245-250 hp, sound right?

Oh, and reminder, for so-cal people. CalDrags is this weekend at California Speedway, i think its about 30 bucks to run. lemme know if anyone is going.

ha, obstacle after obstacle - not with the car. Just life and scheduling problems. Need more free time from school n such, guess ill finish it after finals in two weeks.

I guess things are more difficult down there for you guys, but up here (Canada) I've found an entire GT powertrain (motor, tranny and rear end) for 1k.

That's with 25000 kms.
