I went to the track last night with my headers on and my new spec stage 2 running perfectly. My best run previously was a 2.0 60ft was a 13.2 @106, Last night I managed a 1.9 60ft and a 13.2 at 106 also. I granny shifted cause of the new clutch though. My mods are:

Vortech V2sq with 3.12pully
Steeda Boost Pipe
FRPP Ceramic Coated Shorties
O/R Hpipe
Flowmaster Catback
Steeda Triax
Battery Rolocation Kit
I also had the front swaybar removed for the run.

What should my next mod be to get me into those 12s?

Better shifting and the following:

Eaton Posi
Moser Axles
15x3 Pro stars on front and 15x10 Pro stars on the back. (or weld drag lights)
Mickey Thompson Drag radials.

You're stuck in the 13s and you have a BLOWER??? I don't know why, but that's just mystifying to me. Your 60' times are decent, so it appears that you're getting good traction....you probably just need to go with a drag suspension set-up and put her on a diet.

:OT: What kind of numbers are you putting down?

I was on street tires with my stock 2.73 rearend. I am so anxious to hit the 12s, but it seems like anything I do now makes no improvement.

I never had her dynoed. It is a 97, I was only going 14.40 stock so I find the charger made a huge improvement.

Is the V-2 loud? I want a very loud blower. I heard the V-1 is the loudest of the two but I can't find the V-1 on vortech's site???

Yes the V1 is the load one. I don't think vortech lists it on their site. But when you order it you should be able to ask for the v1 the price is the same

I heard the V1 sounds like a box or rocks under the hood it's so loud.
Prochargers whistle beautifully. They sound sick
