Well I need new tires and I can't find any. I am looking for 265/45/17 (front) and 295/45/18 (rear)

The fronts have to be 45 for ground clearance.

I need great wet and dry due to being in florida. :nonono:

So if any of you can help me locate some tires that would be really appreciated. :nice:

Clearance issues? please explain? if your going with a 265 45 17 in the front you will want a 295 35 18 for the rear unless you like the look of a taller rear tire, I have 18's all around on my car and the 245 40 18's and 285 35 18's have almost exactly the same circumference, so if your going for the overall look that would probably look the best, if your looking for sttraight line performance the you have the right sizes, however the 18's dont give the best grip for drag, but they are great in the corners.

I have the Falken FK-451s on my car right now. I believe they replaced them with the FK-452. I have great wet weather traction and the dry weather traction is good as well. I don't know how the 452s are but I'd imagine they're similar to the 451

Also, mine have a really good tread life

I just got rid of the Falken FK - 451's These were by far the worst tire I ever bought, the traction was so so, the wet trac was ok, but the life was horrible, I got about 4k out of the fronts (caster camber was off in all fairness) and the rear lasted almost 10k, I do not spin my tires by dropping the clutch, and these would not hook. I now have the nitto 555r extremes and these are great tires, I have no experience with them in wet yet, but dry traction is awesome, and the car rides soooo much smoother.

I might be able to go with 265/40/17 up front but since I have a vert, so the xbrace will be closer to the ground.

I could go with the 295/40/18 for rear

I have 17"x9" for front and 18"x9.5" for the rears

i run 17x9 and 18x9 on a vert with coilovers.

255/40/17(soon to be 265/40/17) and 275/35/18. you could get away with 295/35/18's on the 9.5" wheel though.

fwiw i would never ever do a 265/35/anything. been there done that and needed a freakin kidney belt.

you are really in luck cuz the tire sizes you need are the oem sizes on a 01-04 corvette z06.

If it was me I would do 265/35/18's and 315/30/18

That's whats sitting in my Garage right now...
