Cleaning up the car a bit (87 gt 'vert) and trying to figure out some components and proper wire routing all of which are near the driver kick panel area.

Attached are some pics and reference text:

1. is a bracket witha couple yellow standoffs;
2. another is a connector that was dangling;
3. all the connectors by kick panel (how are these properyl tucked away);
4 and 5. white box and blk/brw modules

Appreciate any help. Thanks

Bracket with yellow standoffs is not original. No idea what a previous owner was trying to do there

WHite box is cruise control module. That's where it mounts on 86-88 cars
Thanks! Bracket looks like an old CB radio microphone holder with drywall screws. Old car is loaded with odd surprises. No telling how long it would take to find it in the factory manuals. :)

Are all those connectors (see "wire mess") supposed to be stuffed into that hole with the black bag of insulation? I just don't see how the kick panel is going to cover this bulky mess.

Maybe "connector2" is low oil level relay (5.0GT only schematic)? Color codes do not match up though. Appears the cluster was possibly swapped to the 140 "Ford Motorsport" cluster without electrical provisions for the low oil light. Also checked rear defrost, but that has even fewer matching colors than the low oil level schematic.
