I don't know where you are seeing 100+ people in line for the PS3... Around here most stores have about 2-5 Consoles max. So the lines are just that, 5 people max.

Anyone dumb enough to wait in line for a console they won't be able to purchase, probably doesn't have enough sense to earn the $750 needed to buy one.

That's what all my friends are waiting for. I didn't even know the PS3 was coming out this week, cause all I've been hearing is about the wii.

Honestly, I think I may have grown out of the video game thing. I mean I can play them, but only if I have nothing better to do. And sometimes it doesn't even seem worth to power up the console and wait for the load screens, that I'll just go do something more productive.

Yea, that's the crazy thing. My roommate was telling me that Nintendo's most expensive console was $250 in the 80's. And I wouldn't buy a first model x-box or Playstation after the problems with the first batch of PS2's and 360's release;, but Nintendo seems to have better quality control.

i've been the same way for the last couple years. about two months ago, i had a really crazy urge to get a sega genesis again. 150 bucks later i had a console, and about 50 games that i always wanted when i was a kid but never got. i actually think i'm more entertained by Sonic than i am of like Gran Turismo 4 or Halo.

i like simple games that you can just ick up and play with out a huge story line... i got really back in to everything... i had an SES, Sega,Gamegear,Gameboy pocket,gameboy color,origional game boy, Snes, Virtual boy, Sega nomad.... and a ton of games... i sold it all to ay for my swap for the probe.... made like $600

X-BOX 360 much better system and online play. And Cheaper for the same games. So what Sont put blu-ray in their dvds. that technology might or might not catch on for another 3 years so whats the point. I bought a 360 and it is awesome.....PS3 waste on time and money right now...
