i need to replace my ignition switch on my 89....should i get a motorcraft one or can i go with a (Standard) is the brand from C A P .... what do u guys that replaced them prefer

I prefer motorcraft for this kind of stuff. I went with motorcraft when I did mine and 99% of the electrical items like the multi switch, TFI and headlight switch to name a few. I don't doubt the off brands will work but they have a higher fail rate IMHO even right out of the box .
