Can I just use 5 outa the 6 flywheel bolts? Im am nowhere near close to being done with this motor intstall and Im running outa money for all these ****ing odds and ends. The only things I need to make it run is a 255 fp, but I cant even get the ****ing thing in the car cuz I dont know anyone witha a hoist, and i just moved here and dont have a job yet, so it sits and so do i with no car. I need some god damned short cuts. At this rate I will never have it running. SOrry for the bitching, its late and I cant sleep its pissing me off.
Oh yea, isnt a trade for a BB460 COMPLETE bottom end a good trade for a fp, i dont have room for it but i guess no one thinks im serious but i just want a stupid fuel pump for it.
Bout ready to sell this and get a bike

Sometimes. Manual bolts are a little over 1", autos are usually about 3/4". Sounds like you need to get your head out of your rear and figure out some priorities in life. If anything get a job within bike riding distance to get things back on your feet.

I've never done a FP swap with a lift, just a $99 Sears jack and some jackstands. 14mm socket on the straps and an 8mm to get the filler neck retainer ring off. Oh yeah, 255hp pumps online at www.importpoweronline.com for $99 or so. That's where I've gotten the last couple for customers cars and my own.

i think hes referring to a hoist for the engine, but i hope not for the pump swap.

those flywheel bolts definately arent something to go halfassed on.

Jerry, go get some sleep my man. Come back at this when you are less tired/more refreshed.

My buddy 88SC GT has had some tough times with stuff just fighting him left and right, and he took his time and did it right and I am SURE he is glad he did. Like all projects, we get burned out. Been there, done that. You need a breather.

Good luck bud.
