Well, finished the rest of the Vortech install today All I can say is wow. Best mod EVER! This is the best part though... So there I was, driving with my buddies to get lunch, and swing by the tuner, to see if they have an open slot on the dyno by chance. I see an early 90s Corvette stopped at a light, with an open lane next to him. I couldn't resist. I had an amazing launch, and ended up smoking the **** out of him, by at least 2 full car lengths. The best part was seeing his dissapointed face as he changed lanes and made a turn. That made my day.

So then I get back, and she threw a service engine light. Luckily I have an Xcal now. The codes were P0172, and P0175, which means its rich, which is expected, because he just gave me a base tune to run until I can get her on the dyno. But it also read a P2196, which I can't find what it means. Can anyone help me on that one?

Blowers are fun. Lucky you didn't pop your motor running it essentially untuned lol.

an early 90s vette is a C4. i wouldnt brag about beating one. i saw one make 254/260 on a dyno right after mine. they're beatable lightly modded. but nice kill anyway, even though it was STUPID to do on an untuned blower running pig rich. you may need to replace a cat or two now.

I wouldn't say its, "untuned". Before I installed it, I went to this mustang shop, and bought the Xcal2. He loaded on it for me a blower tune that he said should be pretty darn close to right. Yes its a little bit rich, but nothing bad. I have an apointment for friday on the dyno, so it'll all be good then.

Alright let me rephrase my reply; "Please get your car tuned asap and please do not destroy your engine street racing douchebags before you do."
