I'd not be comfortable with 24 lbs. strong 302's need 24lbs. 30 lbs. maybe, but 36 would be better. What ever you choose though definitly get the correct MAF (no brainer, but had to mention it).
Not 100% sure, but I'm leaning towards a 10:1 compression 393 with AFR205s, kooks headers, Trickflow 351W intake (portmatched to the heads), fox Accufab 75mm TB, 80mm pro-m, 36# injectors, FTI cam. I'll be happy with anything over 400 at the wheels.
Wow, I guess the price has gone up. I bought mine from JD's Performance for $300. I'll take $180 for these with about 1000 miles on them. I even shrink wrapped them individually as I took them off the car.
Impedance is resistance. Resistance in measured in ohms. The greater the ohm, the more resistant that certain electrical device is.
High Impedance injectors have coils that have a high impedance to current. They are generally 14-20 ohms of impedance.
Low Impedance injectors are generally 3-5 ohms. Roughly 1/4 of the impedance. This means that with the low impedance injector you will have 4x the current and therefore 4x the coil "power". This means that the injector will have more "strength" to pull the pintle open.
More strength to pull the pintle open means more fuel, over a longer period of time, hence the rating of fuel injectors in lbs/hr.
I don't know much about setting up a car for low impedance injectors other than I know they need a separate injector driver, separate from the car's current PCM.
