If you do end up going with dekas make sure get geniue Siemens Deka injectors from an authorized dealer. I have heard of people having issues with fakes.

Those are the ones I'm using with a Vortech V3 at 10psi and Megasquirt. They come with the adaptors.

That's the setup I'm thinking about running; any issues when you first ran it and how about now?

Nope, no issues. Steve (@a91what ) can help you get the Megasquirt set up.

Just wanted to ask to be sure....are the Siemens Deka injectors the same length as the Bosch ones (trying to use the factory fuel rails if possible.)

Just wanted to give an update; we got the H/C/I done; haven't swapped the ECM yet so she's running rich....do I need to run my 24# or run the 60's until I get the MSPNP installed?

Why don’t you just install the megasquirt now?

We're trying to get everything setup to put it on but I'm trying to get him up to speed on MS so that he'll get used to it; he's a old school MSD box user so it's a learning curve for both of us.

People run the 60s and 80s so they can go E85 as well. Not sure why you did all this on a speed density car and expected it to run correctly or am I missing something? I would have put the ms on initially and got used to it before I threw a bunch of variables into the equation.

The MS is installed but for now I have the 24's in and I haven't had the chance to get the laptop plugged in because I'm trying to get the driver software to work with my old laptop.

How old is the laptop & what Windows version?
I've used various laptops with different versions of Windows.
Never had a problem with drivers except with Windows 2000.

I've been looking for a set of 80lb Siemens too, and they are hard to find. All the authorized Siemens Deka resellers are out of stock. And I'm leary of the ebay sets. They're so cheap they are probably chinese knockoffs. I have also looked at the TRE Performance injectors. They are listed as Siemens Deka style injectors, not genuine Siemens Deka. And way down at the bottom in the fine print, "TREperformance manufactures these fuel injectors". I'd like to hear from someone that's used their stuff to hear a real world review, but the price is tempting.

oh gotcha and I will definitely be inquiring from some guys like Ted Jenkins of the fb groups who does tuning and some other folks I know on what they think about them. I might just go with the FR ones but I'll need adapters

Both of you should be looking for sets that are flow matched.
