You'll need new frame mounts as well.

That's what I was refering to; sorry.

You would need a more durable tranny (u could use your existing but if you put any power to it, it'll probably blow). The front suspension should be upgraded to handle the extra weight of the engine. Redo the whole front to get new components and upgrade you brakes to stop that extra speed you'll have. With this, you should upgrade to five lugs for a better wheel selection later on.

An 8" or 9" rear should be used as the V8 will blow the 7.5" (7 1/4"?). Of course headers, bigger radiator. I'm a little too general as I'm at work trying to type fast but I wanted to give you an idea. Is your V8  complete and ready to go in?

For some reason it's stickied in the classic talk section.

I think it should be stickied in the tech area. Most of the FAQs are tech related anyhoo.
Ah...cool!

Guess we should get pre-emptive and sticky the "What's the biggest wheel and tire combo that will fit" in there too. Both should be in the tech section though.

Geostang is right...definitely upgrade your brake system since it will be taken apart anyway. If you are looking for a good deal on frame/motor mounts. I'd check on ebay. There was a guy selling them specifically for the I6 to V8 swap. I remember "BigD" or something like that in his screen name. I bought mine from him and I was very happy. And he shipped quick.
