installing my MGW..can't get my center console out

Whatever you do, be careful with the center console! THey break fairly easy, wspecially the thin part above the vent controls.

I didn't remove my console to put my pro 5.0 in but it was a bitch to get them front 2 bolts. Patience was the key. The 2nd time I pulled the shifter was to check my bushing out since I forgot to replace it, took me all of an hour to do everything. The first time was a long process though.

Done...I changed the shifter changed the CD player to my new one I had in my Truck and fixed the ash-tray door. thanks there was 2 screws I was missing the ones in the metal. I cleaned every thing up while it was apart. The shifter isn't that much shorter than the one I made but it feel's way better and persice....Chirped 2-3 the first run down the road lol In town where people were looking to see what was comming.

I'm running the orange handle. I still have the red and blue sitting in my room

I do it the same way as Kevin, with the ratcheting box end wrench on those little bolts that were installed by midg....er little people at the factory.
