I purchased a used holley systemax II intake and installed the lower yesterday but have a couple questions regarding sensors. There are 3 possible holes for sensors to go into. One in the back passenger side and 2 on the front driver side. The intake came off a fox mustang and had something threaded into the back already with a nipple for a vacuum line. But our intakes don't have that. Then we have a sensor with a white connector and the other end is like a loop and alittle acorn looking sensor. What are the purposes of both of these? I know one is the water temp sensor but which one? Then I also bought a mechanical water temp gauge. So is it possible to use the stock sender and this one? I'm just pretty much confused on what should be installed where as I pulled the stock intake off awhile ago. Thanks

Got any pics? I know on my Cobra intake, it had some ports for extra coolant passages that we had to plug. If I remember right, there was 3 in all, but it's been too long. If you can get a pic of the three locations up, then I might be able to tell you for sure. Oh, and I'm assuming this is on the lower plenum right?
