Got the new intake from 6061.com and MC machine bracket, just mocked up for now.
Impressed by both parts.

I did because I had to go to Ace to get the bolts as they were not the same as Eledbrock elbow it replaced.

Made a nice centerpiece while I enjoyed my sammich.

Haha, I'd recognize those tables and the rack of Doritos chips anywhere. Good luck cleaning sweet onion teriyaki sauce out of your MAF sensor.

slow progress, waiting on some 90* couplers. I did fix up the wiring mess in the back passenger corner.

I still need injectors, not sure what to do. I dont have the funds for a standalone and I dont think going from 60's on gas to 80's on E85 makes any damn sense.

what do you guys think?

I think you'll be safe with a set of 120 high impedance. Once you determine the proper injector sizing for gasoline, you can generally add 30% to get an idea of what size injector will be needed for e85. Unfortunately, I think 80s might be undersized and run at too high of a duty cycle. The consensus seems to be that you dont want your injectors to run higher than 85% duty cycle.

Hope these links help:

I was reading your post and my question is can i run e85. I have a low comp motor dss pro bullet 306 0-ringed block ballanced and blue print,AFR heads, with a renegade novi 2000 still on the eng stand so I will probably see around 12-15lbs of boost with the same size intercooler you have . 60lbs inj also with the 90 degress efi elbow ,,,will that bracket fit for my throttle cable? all this will go on my 87 mustang gt .

Yes the bracket will work, that is the stock throttle cable.

I think at 15psi you will need 80's to run e85. You will be very much in stock block splitting range so be careful.

Yes they do. I know for a fact they exist for the GM/LS crowd. There's a company called FIC (Fuel Injector Connection) that will make whatever you want, even custom. They're all flow matched with Viton o-rings and the whole deal. They even come in a nifty little stainless steel case with foam cutouts to show your friends.

But wtf do I know, I'm going blow-thru carb

I meant the one I posted, there's two companies called FIC. They both sell nearly identical products apparently.

Made some progress, need to finish up putting pigtails on the newly relocated wiring for the MAF and TPS.
