Went out tonight to the drag strip. It was quite chilly tonight, around 40F.

Traction wasn't so good because of the weather. I spun the whole second gear, I thought I destroyed the clutch at one point, it was at redline all the time, too much spin.

This isn't my best time, but it is my best MPH ever, 110.808mph:p
At first, i thought it was a mistake but all the runs that night (10+ runs) were all 110mph.

There was this guy in Rochester NY with an early 80's malibu. He had a 454 and some type of centrifical supercharger. Well done car with full cage, big brakes and a 6-speed. The problem was he had crap skinny Cooper tires. We asked him what his drag times were and he said 13.5 at ~130mph.

That guy in the Malibu was my uncle....
Procharged 454, T-56, built rear, I think he has gone to Nitto's for cruise nights and M/T slicks on drag nites.
