Went out tonight to the drag strip. It was quite chilly tonight, around 40F.

Traction wasn't so good because of the weather. I spun the whole second gear, I thought I destroyed the clutch at one point, it was at redline all the time, too much spin.

This isn't my best time, but it is my best MPH ever, 110.808mph
At first, i thought it was a mistake but all the runs that night (10+ runs) were all 110mph.

I always run street setup, which means full weight with spare and jack and street tires at street pressure.

My current mods are:
- VT N/A Stage 1 Cams
- K&N FIPK2
- Mac Prochamber O/R
- Magnaflow Catback
- BBK 75mm Throttle Body
- Diablosport Predator
- GMS Upper Intake Plenum
- Steeda U/D Pulleys
- FRPP 3.73 Gears
- Bullitt Suspension Kit (Shocks, struts & swaybars)
- Maximum Motorsports Full Length Subframe Connectors
- Maximum Motorsports Heavy Duty Lower Control Arms
- SVT Cobra Front Brakes
- Street tires (Exclaim UHP)

There was this guy in Rochester NY with an early 80's malibu. He had a 454 and some type of centrifical supercharger. Well done car with full cage, big brakes and a 6-speed. The problem was he had crap skinny Cooper tires. We asked him what his drag times were and he said 13.5 at ~130mph.

Yea, I need new tires soon, but the season is almost over here.

I'll have to wait till next spring before purchasing any new tires. Falken RT615 maybe

excessive wheel spin usually causes your trap speed to increase.

True, I saw a good difference in trap speed switching to slicks. Obviously, it got down.

That guy in the Malibu was my uncle....
Procharged 454, T-56, built rear, I think he has gone to Nitto's for cruise nights and M/T slicks on drag nites.
